Lykins Companies' Purchase Curry Oil

(London, Kentucky) Lykins Companies has just purchased Curry Oil Company located at 1450 South Main in London, Kentucky. The facility will be headed by London, Kentucky native, Van Loomis. Loomis has worked for Lykins in Cincinnati, Ohio for 10 years and worked for Curry Oil, prior to joining Lykins, for nearly eight years. Loomis will use her more than 18 years of industry experience to oversee the day-to-day operations and sales of the company. London residents will see the new Lykins signage almost immediately.

With Lykins as the new owner, London will have expanded fuel options. Curry was a Shell distributor/jobber. Now, under Lykins, London area gas stations and convenience stores will have the choice of Shell, BP, Marathon, ExxonMobil, and Clark brands as well as unbranded fuel. Lykins will be bringing back bulk oils to the community too, in the next few months. And London residents will now be able to get their home heating oil from Lykins too.
